North New Jersey Fiber Arts Festival

My mother, a needle-felter, came to visit this past weekend, which just happened to coincide with the North New Jersey Fiber Arts Festival held in lovely Ridgewood, NJ. I don't do much felting, and she is just learning the knit stitch, but there is common ground there in the pawing of much wool and oogling of many colors.

The festival was perfect for us- being a celebration of all types of fiber arts, and not just a big yarn orgy.
